Jeremy Owen

Hi, I am Jeremy Owen and I will be taking you on your Rural Japan tours. I was born in Australia and moved to Singapore and Malaysia when I was very small as my father was working for the British Royal Navy. I the moved to Bangkok, Thailand and was educated there. I first came to Japan when I was 19 years old and worked in a Japanese pub in Kobe for a couple of years. Since then I have been working in Japanese tourism for years as I bus guide for Jalpak in London and with Nippon Travel Agency as a guide in Far North Queensland, Great Barrier Reef and for Aboringal History and Culture tours in Kakadu National Park, Northern Territory , Australia. I returned to Japan in 1993 and have been living here ever since. I have a little house in the rice paddies of Moroyama Machi and love this place for the people, the history and nature. I am truly blessed having found this place and I hope to share my experiences with you. I will make your tour with me the highlight of your trip to Japan.
